I’m going to be doing a high country mule deer hunt in Colorado this fall, either archery or early rifle, and am looking for someone to join me.  This will be a high country hunt, elevations 10,000 to 13,000 ft. It will either be early rifle the second week of Sept. or archery the last week in August.  This will probably be a backpack hunt, but might look into doing a drop camp.  I’m looking for someone who has some experience on backcountry hunts.  There is also the possibility that you could archery hunt elk while I hunt mule deer if I do the early rifle hunt.  In that case, we would basically just share camp and help each other pack out meat if we’re successful.  Message me if you’re interested and we can talk about the units and the specifics.
